Overview

This project used open-source Mozilla Hubs to build a server-client system for studying online education in virtual reality. Custom JavaScript scripts were implemented to record platform performance through a POST API, creating a richer view of system behavior during virtual lectures.

The resulting data was processed in Python and Jupyter Notebook to compute, visualize, and analyze the relationship between platform behavior and user experience during immersive classroom sessions.

Highlights

  • Built a custom server-client research setup on top of Mozilla Hubs.
  • Delivered a VR lecture to 23 graduate students and supported an additional virtual session for 35 students.
  • Collected systems and user data across four lectures to support a detailed paper on VR education and user experience.
